Does anyone have a line on replacement or OEM RS/RSS front disc brake rotor buttons? My rotors do not float on the buttons, they are rigid, held on to the carrier with a bolt and nut. Also, any idea who made the brake rotors/ carriers in the first place? Any help or leads would be appreciated!!! Thanks, Warren |

Buell made those brakes from scratch. We bought a log of cast iron and shipped it around the Milwaukee area until it was a break disc. We also had the button made. Not sure who you call for RS parts these days. Somebody here may know. |

Hi Dave - I thought they were made up by Buell and appreciate your confirmation. Looks like I'll have some made up for my project. Do you know if the rear brake discs and carriers were also made by Buell? The buttons and overall design look the same except for the Gambler caliper! Over in Brookfield, Wisconsin last summer I located new parts for this caliper from the original guys who made them! |

Send me a list (if you have a photo that'd be great) of what you are needing. I **may** be able to help. |

I don't remember the rear rotor at all. We might have bought them but I can't remember. |

Dave: Was that a kart piece? |

Was that a kart piece? I don't think so, I sorta remember making the front and rear out of the same blank but that may have been a project that never worked. If we could buy the size we needed from somebody at a good price we didn't make it. We had plenty of things we needed to make and they strained the few resources we had. |

Blackhawk, did you get the PM with the contact info? |

Rich - Several of the buttons are scored from brake pad misalignment/ wrong size abrading the tops of the buttons. And the plating was bad, didn't offer much protection from tarnish. Loki - Don't know the contact information you are referring to - more info please. Thanks |

Dave - I think the Blast had rotors that were F/R out of the same blank...wasn't aware of any other Buells that used that? |
