I am wondering how difficult it is to replace the neutral switch on a cyclone. I looked through a bunch of threads in the vault dealing with the neutral light and saw diagrams about where the switch is located but I didn't see anywhere that described if this is a difficult task or not. |

If it is like my X-1: Remove the front sprocket cover, then the front sprocket. Unplug the wire, take the neutral light switch out. Blue Threadlocker, tighten the new switch to 3-5 ft/lbs. Reinstall the front sprocket, belt, and sprocket cover. |

BTW, the above instructions come from the service manual. I haven't had to change the switch myself, but from having been in that area of the bike before, there MAY be enough room to undo the switch w/a box end wrench and get the new one in without removing the front pulley. YMMV. |

Thanks Akbuell. I read it in my service manual as well. I guess I was just curious if I should expect some surprises or challenges when attempting the fix. |
