I have a 96 S1 that has always been a racer, built by Eastside Harley in Washington. Hasn't been raced in 7 or 8 years. Well I moved to New Mexico to get some sun and realize it would be fun to race again. Tracks are not like I am used to in the Pacific Northwest but could be fun. Just wondering if anybody out there still races an older Buell. Kinda would be nice to shoot the bull with someone else doing this. |

Alan, welcome to New Mexico. I moved here a few years ago and almost immediately got involved in road racing with an 1125. I checked your profile and see that you live in TorC. That's a good location for NM tracks, partway between Arroyo Seco (Deming) and Sandia (Albuquerque). Have you seen either track yet? For a lot of reasons I've been off the track for a year and a half, but plan to be back in a few months. Good luck and hope to see you at the tracks. |
