Hello; new Buell owner here with a well-maintained 15K mile S3T I picked up two weeks ago. Upon purchase, I rode the bike 540 miles home with no issues, but yesterday did an 85-mile backroads jaunt over the course of two hours. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary when I parked the bike in my driveway, and a few hours later rolled it into my garage where it sat overnight. When I got up this morning I noticed a couple of ounces of gear oil on the floor. I couldn't pinpoint the source of the leak, but the underside of the primary case cover was oily along its length and the excess had dripped onto the muffler and then the floor. I've seen some great technical responses in the short time I've been on the forum and thought I'd put this one out there for everyone to see. Obviously the leak occurred after the bike had cooled which may provide a clue as to its cause. FWIW, after I wiped the underside of the primary cover down this morning there has been no further evidence of leakage. Thanks in advance for any suggestions/ideas!
