I'm looking at a couple different bikes and can't decide. I had been set on Arctic White/Hero Blue but some of the bikes I've seen in Racing Red look pretty good too. I know this is a personal preference/religious debate, but what are the groups thoughts? |

I think people look at white and blue as authority colors. I had a blue SHOEI helmet years ago and people kept slowing down behind me. I think blue and/or white scares people to slow down. |

We all know that the fastest ones are the white ones, because they're not hauling around all that extra pigment. We also known that red bikes get more tickets. Red motorcycles do the same things to cops that red capes do to bulls.

WHITE!!!! easily the best...easier to keep clean, easier for people to see (Safety), and it reflects light thus propelling you forward at higher rates of speed Jake |

the fact that you've never seen a white bike is evidence that they are that much faster! |

White is "pure" speed, have you ever seen a bad guy ride a white horse? Good, fast guys ride white. "A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty "Hi-yo Silver". Enough said |

The reference is to the horse, even in Blazing saddles the sheriff's horse white, here we go, everything is about race, don't even go there man, joking or not, Bad Weather will get sued by some liberal ultra left wing whack job, and we will all have to do sensitivity seminars. |

So I can more easily acquire a red one locally, but I can have a white for the same price plus a $400 transport fee. Given the group anecdotal evidence, is white really $400 faster? |

How much do plastics cost new ? How much do plastics cost used? New $ - Used $ = transport $? |

Bottom line: it's all about what makes you happy. If it's worth the money to have her in blue/white, then spend it. If you like red, then save your money. Just don't buy black unless you want to join the Dark Side. |

Anecdotal evidence indicates that white 1125s are pretty rare. A white one may have a better resale value, assuming you can find a certifiable Buell nerd to sell to years hence. Somebody on this board should be able to tell us exactly how many white 1125s were produced. |

If that color was available when I bought my 1125 in Dec 07, My bike would be white/hero blue. I love that color scheme so my votes for white! |

I'm not sure it's "custom", but it is the color wheels that the white bikes came with to my knowledge. |

Hero Blue and White was a standard color in 2009. I had to wait in line to get white instead of black. |

The only reason I bought my 1125r was it was white. I shad seen plenty of red and black ones but they just didnt do it for me. I walked into my dealer and saw the white one and knew that it was to be mine!!!!!!! White and blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
