Are you sure that ebay seller is the real owner? Cause of concern is that all pictures seem to have a date stamp of 2007. Reason might be that the camera defaults to 1/1/2007 when the batteries are out too long (some Fuji cameras default to somewhere in that range), or they could really be from back then and if that is the case then you don't know what it really looks like today. Anything like this on ebay should be taken with a grain of salt until proven to be correct. |

Greg, see for yourself - http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/boar d-profile.cgi?action=view_profile&profile=guy_glov er-users While it is possible someone made an ebay account and faked his name, stole his pics, etc, I see it being highly unlikely for such a rare bike. |

I don't doubt that someone really owns that machine, it's the ebay ad that I doubt. Since this person is a member, why not also list it here where it will draw more attention from the collectors that are already here? I would certainly have done that. I'm just afraid that someone will get the $2,000 deposit ripped off. (Message edited by Greg_E on April 26, 2012) |

I have enough trouble with the computer with one finger so don't ask me how to set the date on my camera. These pictures were taken 6 days ago. This is a for real new bike that has never even been heat cycled.I have another one [sorry] that is used for track days and has never given me any trouble so there was never any reason to start this one.To be honest, the reason I didn't list in on the BADWEB is on more than one occasion I've had more people chime in to tell me what it wasn't worth than were interested in buying. Buy the way, in three days there have been over 1500 viewers and 70 people have it on their watch list. If anyone is interested my number is 954-520-9436 |

IMO I don't think you could buy a bike that should go up in value as fast as an RR. I think that Whoever buys it will be very happy in 10 years. Especially if he rides it even one time.MMMMMMM- No I better not! |

if it hasnt been started yet only an idiot would do so. that is a museum piece and part of the nostalgia that comes with it is the fact that it hasnt been started. why change that? |

I have a problem with this statement in the ad: "This is absolutely the fastest air cooled bike Harley ever produced or ever will" That is a FALSE statement, as Harley did NOT 'build" that bike, and they did not "design" that bike. BUELL designed the bike, and BUELL built the bike. Hardley supplied the $$$, and the basic design for the engine, nothing else. That bike is ALL BUELL! (Message edited by bartimus on May 03, 2012) |

Hardley supplied the $$$ That part of the statement may not be 100% accurate... That bike may be more Buell than most think, 1313 |

I know who built the bike, talked with him on many occasions. All 50 were presold at the 'HARLEY DEALER SHOW'. Like I said above, that's why I didn't list it on the BADWEB. |

Wow..... i need to play the lottery more often.... oh to have a collection....ohhh to start a collection with that bike..... Guy, hold out.... its worth whatever you want for it.... some collector or museum will find it.... I hate to see bikes not ridden as thats what they were built for but i play the game in my head of the scene where I have a lovely flat or huge studio and the center piece is a bike like this that I stare at night after night while cooking dinner and having a drink.... oh the life.... but,,, I ain't whining.... mine is damn good .... usually is!!! Cheers- pete |

Ama Museum Talked to me about the bike but their first offer was that I should DONATE it. It will never get started by me but if I didn't have the other one to ride I don't know if I could resist. |
