Maybe I should contact the seller to tell him to "take the carb off and give it a good cleaning" LOL!!! There'll be plenty more Blasts out there just like this one! Hopefully they take as good care of it as this one seems to be. |

Heck, drop the carb bowl, change the jets, replace das boot and 1 gallon of new gas. How pissed would the guy be if i did that at the end of his drive way. |

How pissed would the guy be if i did that at the end of his drive way. Old Subarus had this type of thing with the timing belts. They were non-interference engines, and most mechanics didn't know this. They'd tell someone, "Oh, your timing belt broke, the engine is scrap now." Well, usually it would sit around until someone offered $100 for the "broken Subaru" sitting in the yard. It was usually regarded as wise to have a friend help you tow the car around a corner at least before swapping the timing belts out and driving it home. Otherwise, apparently, people got really rather pissed when you fixed it in their driveway & drove off. |
