Who knows where to get replacement parts? Froggy? Case came open while riding. Broken "decklehalters" scraped up the top of the side cover and painted insert. Don't want to buy the entire case. Any one know if and how the case can be separated at the bottom hinge? Thank you. |

Al at American Sportbike (http://www.americansportbike.com/) has the parts that fail most often. If you need more obscure parts, the US distributor for Hepco is http://secure.capitalcycle.com/Hepco-Becker/depart ments/22/ I dealt with them, and they eventually got it right, but it was overall the "old school" customer service experience. Meaning I had to do most of the work myself, and correct several of their mistakes, and nothing they did could be considered timely. So you are much better off dealing with Al if he has the parts you need. |

I recommend you avoid capital cycle. I called them and ask for a part(I had the number) said they had it....I give them my billing info....Then all of a sudden they do not have it. I said ok! I'll look somewhere else. Then, 4 months later UPS pulls up with a package from them. Its the part I called and ask about. Best part.....I had found it somewhere else the day I had talked with the capitalcycle BUT!!, I'm liable for the charges because I gave them my billing information. A better experience can be found at www.amotostuff.com |

Why does everyone always name drop me? Because you have all the parts manuals memorized...or implanted...or...something. Don't you? |

Anyway, here is a good source of parts: http://www.amotostuff.com/category/hepco_becker_pa rts.html FYI, this is the US distributor and they are VERY helpful. After I sold my Uly (I miss that bike!), and had to find the right HB parts to put the Uly bags on my Tiger800 XC, they were very helpful. I highly recommend them. Wayne |
