Has anyone had this problem? I need to replace my stater but I cannot loosen the sprocket nut I have a good size breaker bar I have replaced many sprocket nuts and stators and have never had this problem. I really don't like using an impact wrench sense they have a tendency to crack the magnets? Dave |

Try heating the nut with a propane torch gently in order to soften the loctite if any is present. |

Use an impact wrench, but not a big one with high air pressure. I use a small 110V electric one. Torque with the breaker bar, break loose with the impact gun. |
