Sorry for being lazy. Can't find my CD manual and I don't know if the FSM is up-to-date (so to speak.) Attach all fasteners and tighten from the heads down or from the muffler up? |

The proper exhaust sequence is not in any FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL because you are supposed to born knowing this ... EXHAUST ASSEMBLY Class 101, just PM me for a copy ... |

I snug everything up and then start the bike. If there's a bind, it should shake itself into a comfortable position, and then I tighten from the heads down. If you tighten it up and there's a bind, you'll end up breaking a stud or the front clamp. |

Follow exhaust flow. Heads first. Wiggle the rest of the system to 'settle' it all. collector bracket. wiggle. front muffler clamp. wiggle. etc. |
