Why do you need stands? Just ride the bike into your bedroom, put a ramp up to the bed, Clutch it gently as you walk next to it and in first gear under power the bike will slowly motate up the ramp. Once your up there, just let it roll over on its' side like a big dog. No prob. Then if your (future ex) wife says, "WTF??!!!?", you can blame the mess on the sheets on "a faulty lubrication circuit in the washer" which is meaningless but sounds sufficiently dull and technical that it might save the day.

No, but it wasn't all that difficult to sort out. I'm a little bit over $400 into it now. |

I use woodcraft front and rear stands. The front has a pin you can swap out for different bikes. the rear is "adjustable" by standing on it and stretching or compressing it so that it fits the spools on the 1125 |

Used Handy lift picked up for $500, built a new wheel vise plus a quart of paint to refinish, works quite well with the jib crane.

Those pneumatic HandyLifts rock! I won one at a dealership raffle when I lived in Indy, but it was so doggone heavy that I didn't want to drag it with me when I moved. That was a mistake. Now it belongs to a friend and I have no chance of getting it back. That jib crane is awesome. |

That's a great lift - but it still doesn't let you pull a wheel |

The secret to pulling a tire with the handy lift is that you put your oh-so-expensive pitbull stands on the oh-so-super-expensive handy lift... or you just use the you-don't-want-to-know-the-cost jib crane to lift the bike. |

I got a pretty decent idea, installation probably wasn't cheap unless you did it yourself. I work on 5 ton capacity cranes, electric operated as well as air only. The air ones are fun. |

Chainfalls and the pair of 3,500lb trailer spindles were purchased new about $175 IIRC. Everything else is used even the trolley, one day to build one to install and paint. I do have an air hoist on the jibcrane for the mill.
