Just purchased a tank bag for the yet to be picked up 08 Uly. It came with a small plastic bag of fitting and straps. Anyone direct us to the right place to figure out how to mount the straps? Cheers | ||

Well, since nobody answered, I'll give it a shot. I'm assuming you have the same bag I have. You should have three straps, two short ones with buckles on one end and holes in the other, and one long one with a buckle in the middle and a hole on each end. So, in total, four holes. Basically, these things are held to the airbox by the screws that mount the airbox. The short ones go on the top. So, remove the two screws in the top of the airbox, put the screws through the straps, and back into the airbox mount. The long one goes on the back of the airbox. You remove the seat, remove the two screws on the back, and mount the strap, with the buckle in the middle facing up. You now have three attach points two up front one on each side, and one right in front of the seat. And those are where you attach the bag. Unless you have a different one than me, in which case, nevermind. | ||
