Is there a quiet after market muffler? |

The local dealer is quoting me $313 for a stock muffler. |

Can anyone comment in this item, which quiets a Jardine exhaust? It says "Jetting may be required." Why? |

Nice - jetting should be the same though - just keep it at 175 main. EZ |

I'll give you one of my stock ones for cheap plus shipping. I have an extra. |

Thank you for your offer. I've been thinking about it for a day. I think because the stock exhaust, which I really prefer for appearances, is such a pain to remove and it blocks the tranny drain plug, I think I will go aftermarket. |

I wouldn't mind buying an OEM exhaust for future use but I'm afraid shipping from California to Indiana would be pretty steep ... |

The Jardine with the quiet core is certainly not as quiet as the stock exhaust, but it's quite acceptable IMO. It's roughly comparable to the stock 1125 exhaust - audible, but not obscene. |
