John, Hope you are feeling better. Sorry to see that you are selling your bike but whoever buys it will certainly enjoy it for many miles. Good luck. |

Crusty - Sounds like life is taking a dump on you now. Hang in there brother. You're a good man, things will work out. Sorry you are letting the Uly go, hope you sell it fast. Loretta's key has the "Homecoming 2010" bracelet you handed out. Thinking of you often... Zack |

We shall see, but I think my 1125s will still get the bulk of the mileage. This one will be great for the 2up touring I have planned. |

It wasn't even up for 24 hours! Thanks! You're getting a very good motorcycle. It loves long distances and is very comfortable for me. I've done a few 800 mile days on it. It's addictive as hell. You might find yourself picking the XT over the water pumper, even though the 1125 makes more power. Anyway, if it makes you half as happy as it made me, you'll be grinning a lot! |

Froggy, I did Grand Rapids MI to Phoenix AZ in about 24 hours. Get the tall seat if you can, it is well worth it. I need an 1125, but I will never sell my Uly... truly permagrin, congratulations on the sale and purchase |

Froggy, now that you have a good bike in the best color, I suppose you will be selling the 1125's? You will have so much more time to ride, now that you won't be spending your weekends adjusting valves! |

No, I will be spending my time adjusting clutches, chains, and dumping oil more often. This will be a one use bike, 1125s will still get most of my miles. At least it ain't a 06 or 07! |

You could be a bull frog with an 06 but only a spring peeper on that 08. If you really knew how to use a clutch it never needs adjustment and the primary chain only needs to be looked at and very rarely adjusted. |

I rode it home last night from near Boston to New York, I haven't ridden my XB or Blast in nearly a year either so I forgot what the air cooled bikes were like. I was spoiled by the smoothness of my 1125s, the no effort shifting, slipper clutch, also how it is easy to squeeze clutch that doesn't even need to be touched most of the time to shift. The tall windshield on the XT is terrible, it puts the wind directly at my face, I was spoiled by the air bubble the 1125R puts you in, and the CR is naked so at least the wind isn't focused on my face. I do have Palmer brackets laying around, I'll have to dig them out. I also have to get used to not shifting as early as I do on my CR, even my 06 XB with a Micron can't pull as hard down low as my CR. I'm sure Danie will love the back seat, too bad neither the stock nor accessory low seat is as comfortable up front as the 1125r accessory touring seat. |

Hey Froggy, glad to see your enjoying your new motorcycle! We'll be keeping an eye on the Buell classified ads to see how long it will be before you list your 1125's for sale. lol |

Funny, but i don't have any problems with the oil, or the chains, or the clutch on either of my ulysses... Maybe if you talk nicer to yours. Don't let it see that one photo with the snow...and the bikes having a nap. |

Hey Froggy, are you going to ride that XT to this year's Buell Homecoming? All you will have to do is point it in the right direction and it will make it's way back home to East Troy. It's already done it before. |
