Mike -- very nice, tho I like the boat-tailed cersions a little better . . . .the turtle-decked Ts seem a little ungainly to me when compared to the tapered versions . . . . . |

I'm going to have to put some ideas together and do some head scratchin' about the project. Currently been web shopping for free catalogs and such, which can become a dangerous pursuit once they begin to arrive in the mail. Good thing I gots no money right now .... |

Mike, If you ride in, you can have your choice of what goodies I bring. Either leftover Christmas cookies or some of my home made salsa. (I'd suggest the salsa, because by then the cookies will probably only be good for skeet shooting.) Did you happen to find the manual to the tractor? I cleaned the garage before the addition of the "mystery machine" and still could not find it. It may have disappeared into a black hole.

Nope, haven't seen it but will take another look for it this week just in case it fell into a corner of the sheetmetal somehow. Weird the way it vanished. I'm betting a squirrel snagged it for some winter insulation in it's treehouse. |

Anyone need anything from Texas? Might be taking a trip there in the near future to pick up a 71 Norton. |

You driving or flying, and how deep into Texas are you going? Wait, maybe not, too much to haul with a bike too. Just bring back two pounds of sunshine and a gallon of warm weather. A '71 Norton eh? Interesting. This could be of interest to you, just found it: http://www.oldbritts.com/ob_main.html

Just found this in the jsonline.com classifieds, amongst a grand total of four whole motorcycle ads (one bike, one trailer, one swap meet, one wanted, slim pickin's I'm thinkin' ):
quote:Harley 1903-2004 SWAP MEET Sunday January, 4th 10AM - 5PM WAUKESHA EXPO 414-839-2712
CJ, If the current owner of the soon to become DynaNorton is like most of them I've seen, your Texan will probably still be attached to the bike's handlebars when he arrives back in town. |

I have been to the Waukesha show before. It was a bunch of grimey bikers sitting around drinking beer and looking at rusty parts. NOTHING for a bueller.... Except over priced beer and a lady to sew on a 3%er patch... |

Honestly dont know if he was in Nam or not. Think real hard CJ..who was here for the 20th & is from Texas? Only 1 person so that narrows it down a whole bunch. |
