A while back someone had a orange, black & highly polished Buell for sale & if memory serves he made mention of pics posted during the build. I've looked & looked but cant find the picture & figured someone mite piont me in the rite direction. reason is I wanted to show it to my daughter because it was so sharp. Thanx in advance. |

It was either mine or tij's. Two completely different approaches to the (re)creation of beautiful tubers. tij's has a lot more $$ involved. His shop does great work, and he has a real knack for finding some of the coolest and rarest tuber parts. Mine was a glorified experiment. I bought it with doubts that I could even get it running again.. ended up buying some tools, reading the manual, asking questions here, and learning a lot before getting the bike put back together. Purchased mine in a neglected state December 08. (engine blown up) traded it last month for a DRZ, lots of extra parts, and cash. It's since had headwork done, cams upgraded, and a tune. It just sold again to a guy who is currently in Afghanistan. I'm keeping track of it, and will try to point the current owner to BadWeb whenever I get the chance to talk to him. www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/4293 57.html www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/4580 17.html |
