Bomber: I'll share thoughts and opinion for free....whilst being paid to do something else. I will not take the time to edit and spellcheck. The 'net is more akin to a chalk board in a men's room than a Masters Thesis. Besides...if we could spell...what other, perhaps more valued of our gifts, would be diminished? Hehehehe....you are fabulous! In the end, I'd rather be among the number who can't type than among the number who can't think.

>>In the end, I'd rather be among the number who can't type than among the number who can't think. Uh, I don't mean to imply anything about your talents or abilities, here, Court-san, but does membership in one of those groups automatically disqualify you from the other one? r-t |

>>>>but does membership in one of those groups automatically disqualify you from the other one? Inviting me, who for the record am wearing a Texas hat at the moment, to become mutually intrusive, are you? The answer: NO The explanation: The world has your plain ol garden variety idiots and then there are the hyper crowd. I'm reminded of a law professor at Washburn University (Cricket Elrod was her name) who when asked the differnece between negligence, ordinary negligence and gross negligence, replied...imagine "a fool, a damned fool and a G__ damned fool". You must truly admire folks who, when they could just do something, do it WELL! Court (off to some sort of Ducati hubba-bubba press event Friday....can i borrow your Monster?_) |

Thing: Actually, it's kinda nice getting back on the Ducati Media "A" List. After my last stunt, wherein I rode a Buell M-@ Cyclone (One of the best motorcycles ever made....and I can prove it) to the Grand Opening of the Times Square Ducati Flagship store, Id been de facto exiled. It was fun in the Buell sense. It was snowing lightly and all the local celeb glitterati were invited. I dressed in a new Armani black tux, donned a black Aerostich and a one-off Arai Luca Cadalora RX7RR3 (they eventually made that design in the Quantuum, but never the RX)and arrived whilst the local media were doing there news cut away. As the sole motorcycle at a motorcycle store, it kinda caught folks' eye and got lots of press that the Duc folks kinda figured, footin' the mega bill, was due them. My friend and store owner Mark vowed never to invite me back but he softened and we had the Buell Party there at the next Javitts IMS show and mark brought in a Super Mono for us to see. Then, just 6 months later, they invited me back to speak on the history and evoution of Ducati from a Capacitor manufacturer to a motorcycle builder. They particularly liked my tales about the day the factory missed getting bombed and got taken out during the celebration the folloinw day. They also were amazed to hear about Paul Smart's wife comitting him to ride at Imola while he was away in the USA. Remind me to tell you the story someday..... Anyway, the damn fools have invited me and my punching buddy Irishman Ultan to a party...they'll be sorry.
