saron exhaust $500 shipped beson muffler $450 shipped borla muffler $250 shipped accepting offers on other mufflers in pics... these all came from RMR. the mufflers that look chrome were labeled 3" high performance buell muffle and appear to be for tubers with 3" collectors (any of the thunderstorm tubers). If anyone knows what these are feel free to post it. I also have some 1125 headpipes. pics to follow. | ||

YEah I wd. toss it all..Just wrap it up and send it my way...LoL Just saying they are not much use just the muffler... I bought the whole complete system used for 500 bucks so.... I may be interested in one of them, But no wheres near what ya want..Good luck! | ||

Most any respectable race car shop will make an intermediate pipe for about $100. Ask me how I know. Here is mine.  | ||

Sure looks like it Brin. And not to pee on the thread any further, but that particular Borla pipe was part of a full stainless system, which, while it sounds pretty freakin' neat assembled Ken; if you can find someone looking for just the muffler you'll be doing well, 'cause it's a pretty specific piece... might ebay it, just for better coverage. Finding someone here (in the smaller badweb pool of Buellers) looking for just that particular muffler may be tough. Beauty XB, that polished frame is gorgeous! it's not a hole... it is a welded up recess...my guess is it was under the drain plug and allowed access | ||

If that Borla ever gets cheap enough I'll take it. Let me know what your absolute bottom dollar is. I'm one of the few that has that system...One needs the Borla headers to use the muffler. | ||

Those chrome fatties look like the old "Daytona Boss" mufflers. I have one on my X1, sounds good but heavy...and big. If you have another X1 race header (which you did not mention, but your a race type of guy)I'll gladly throw in my Daytona Boss as partial payment. | ||

Hey Joe7bros.. I used a Power Commander v with mine and tweaked a tune that I found for a different pipe. Ran awesome.. I have since sold the bike though. | ||

Kusib,, Thanks for the reply. So just your stock ECM and a PC V, got it. The guy I bought the pipe from tells me he used a Barkers tune and it worked well; so I have two options. Thanks again |
