Author Message   Darth_villar Posted on Monday, March 26, 2012 - 12:01 am:        At the very end of my spring break, on the way back from an awesome mountain biking time, my belt finally died. It had 21,000 miles on it, the original 06 belt. And had put up with the extra power of a big bore kit for about 18,000 miles. If the new belts are even stronger, I wonder what kind of mileage I will get out of them? My 2008 belt popped while accelerating away from a traffic light in downtown Boston after only 15,000 miles. No wear, no wheelies, damage, bearing issues or anything else. And only 7k miles on each one as well. And I ride very spirited :P Honestly I'm surprised my original belt lasted this long under the conditions. Call me when your belt is putting down 130+ HP at the wheel Both my R and CR are at about 20k miles, original belts, the CR belt has a hole in it from a rock, and thats been there for about a year now. But I may be getting some more aggressive headwork done, the Uly doesn't like AZ weather as much as I do. I have been wanting to pick up an 1125 for a while, but alas, a student salary is not conducive to buying stuff
