After two years of modding and testing I have finally finished my exhaust system. Please follow this link to the other forum for a look, I have an even earlier post linked that shows the primary work and then later adjustments.

Sounds good.

Or you could have used a UK built Stealth SS can. 220GBP plus 20GBP shipping in the UK. I fitted one to my 2010 Uly. 30 min to fit, top build quality, no fueling problems with a Piper filter, better power/pull, close to half the weight of the OEM can, no rust and a sound close to yours. It fitted perfect and my bike runs perfect.

He also makes them to order so you can have one, two pipes or anything else you want. Half the price of a Remus and as good if not better. I have had both.

I know what it costs to make a product like this and he must be just getting "wages" out of it. He even supplies metric SS Torx chin bolts in the deal which alone would be 15GBP to buy.

Sounds exactly like mine with the valve wired open.

I don't think I researched that can, but I will now. Always looking for a creative twist. I never even contemplated wiring open the valve with my other untouched stock can but that may make a nice option. When I took the packing out it did make a noticeable difference in sound. I am going to take a GoPro2 video today or this week and will post. The camera will be mounted to my helmet and maybe the frame, not sure I have a bracket for that yet. Thanks for the tip on the Stealth.

Here is a link to my first road trip with the exhaust. A drive by will follow.

My recomendation for mounting the camera is to use a bracket for a steer damper and hook it there it will get a lot less vibration

The vibration doesn't bother me. I do think that the oscillation which is a waveform is pretty cool though. The camera shutter and the vibration of the bike are sympathetic enough to cause a wave and not a shake.
Pretty neat.

I'm going to shoot a drive-by and I'll remount in various locations to experiment.

Looks like you need a little more preload on your forks...
