I did a search and read that alot of you are using the handy stand. I like it's price the best over the competiton. I am a little confused though, on their webpage they have a disclaimer stating that their stand will not function with Buell XB's. So how can some of you be using it? Did you have to modify it? | ||

I use them and yeah you have to modify them.The rear you have to cut a 1/2 inch off the pads because the rear stand isn't quite wide enough.Thats a easy fix with a little hand saw of any type.But the front your gonna have to add a 1/2 inch to the left arm of the stand because one fork leg is longer then the other,so get the welder.It most likely cost $20-$30 to have someone fix it up for you.Still alot less then some stands even if you have to fix them up some. | ||

I had to make the rear stand a little wider. The pads slide into a square tube that sticks out about 1/4" from the round tubing. I cut both square tubes as close to the weld as I could. This made the width perfect without cutting the pads. MikeO | ||

Yes, the Pit Bull front stand has a pin that fits in the bottom of the triple tree and lifts. Craig | ||

I don't know if the particular rear Pitbull i got fits on the XBs but it worked perfect on an R1 and a tube Buell.It's a VERY nice product. | ||
