Speaking of priceless.... telling your wife the new catch can on your Buell is a nitrous bottle is really PRICELESS! I still laugh about that night, her reaction was worth it. lol |

been a long time i made a buell bobber with a s3 motor. the bike was crashed and i did it to just build sumthing. now im saleing it and going to get a speed triple or something for the long hales. |

hey yall, bob here new to the forum. 1st post...kinda. got an '06 Uly last October. fast forward a year, and after going to The Tail of the Dragon for a week this last fall, i have fully accustomed myself to the beast and have a new affinity for v-twin power. just throwing myself out there. i'm in VB and always down for a good solid ride.

I hear ya Mel, I was out on the M2 last night. I finished resealing the intake tract and rejetting the carb. Finished with brake pads yesterday and modified the exhaust. |

Hey guys i just bought an 07 uly and was trying to sort it out...it has a jardine can on it and 11,000 miles...runs pretty good.... i guess?...just picked it up today...i did the ''both headlights on'' mod and i want to reset my tps....could anyone around help me maybe...or just test ride it for me and let me know if its all good...my name is james and i live in va beach...cell #672-4970....thanks |

you may find that jiardine to be needing re-packing/riveting too often.
i'd sooner buy the ECMspy CD and cable than pay some one for TPS reset or whatever.
i could never figure out ECMspy, but if nobody else chimes in;

yeah it runs really strong and all's well with the engine...but i neeed the front rotor mount bolt kit to mount the front rotor solid to the rim...its at ''ebr'' but they are out of stock....the pulsing in the front brake is driving me crazy...i put new pads on and cleaned it all up correctly.....i have never seen a rotor mounted on springs and i wonder how it works at all... |

Did you unbolt the rotor to clean it? U might want to check to make sure rotor bolts on the rim are torqued correctly and not mounted solid..they need alittle space to move on the spring, if anything get new springs/bolts, maybe even a new rotor. Talk to Jennifer at SSHD, she will be able to help you out. Also you get 15% off buell parts with them!
If you dont already have the repiar manual, i HIGHLY recommend you get it. |

Hey frinzo i can move the rotor against the springs.....you can feel them move in and out if you push on it with your hand......i did not unbolt it, i just sprayed in there real good with brakleen. Theres a salesman at sshd that has a uly and he told me that when he got the new bolt kit it fixed his brake pulsing.....the rotor dosen't show any signs of heat damage and from what iv'e already done to it its about halfway fixed....the ebr bolt kit mounts the rotor to the rim solid and its only 41.00 so i just want to try that first.....if i was to remove the bolts i understand i would have to replace the bolts anyway...i mean i thought you could'nt reuse them.....thanks |

You are correct about not reusing the bolts. When u get the EBR bolt kit and have it installed, let us know ur thoughts about it.
The sales guy at SSHD is Duck, that crazy ass man. Hes a good guy and is very knowledgeable about all buells. Jenn works in parts, just so you know. |
