I mean both too loud and too close to the mic... Bubba, yes, 147dB is actually the noise coming from the V&H on my M2 but it's a very different type of sound... |

Your gonna have to hear it 147db in person.Your V&H wouldn't sound real good in a house through a little mic either.I've owned what you have and this is not all that loud and way sweeter sounding then any V&H ever will. The clip just doesn't serve complete justice, but it will give ya the idea.

Buckinfubba, I hope to gather some X-mas $$ soon. These Drummer's, they're for 12's right? Must I use the race ecm and air cleaner? If you send me the whole kit,(Drummer, race ecm and race air cleaner) what will my cost be? Is there a way for me to reset the TPS without the dealer? Happy Holidays all!! May there be something from Buell under your tree! |

I don't want to call anyone out, but the day a V&H pipe is a147 db or any of our pipe are there. I mean isn't a jet engine something like 130db 147 db will more than likely literally make your ears bleed and you will go deaf. time to leave tonight azfirebolt I will tell ya tomorrow but yes it is darn close to $600 |

I can't wait to hear the clip on a real computer. On my notebook, it sounds like a bad case of flatulence in the next stall at a Mexican restaurant's men's room. Oh well, will probably have to wait til Spring when I see Dana next. |

I think it sounds good. It makes it sound less like the Harley potato potato sound. I'm a big fan of the Ducati sound and this is more similar to that than the trademark harley. I will be sending mine in to Buckinfubba right after the holidaze!

Compared to the real thing, it sounds a little lame. I feel mine is a tad louder, but then gets quieter after hitting 5K RPM. So much quieter than the Vance and Hines on the S2. Parts the Red Sea when Lane Splitting (is that legal in any other state besides California?), I think it gets quieter when it is performing! edited by kaese on December 24, 2003 |

147 dbs would cause permanent damage if not outright death after about 5 seconds. I dont think there is a pipe out that is over 112dbs max. edited by dynarider on December 24, 2003 |

I believe 86dbs is the legal limit in California. Some how the cops know the sound limits by listening. I don’t think the Drummer gets even close.I guess we will have to measure this one too! The track is a good place. |

My survey on the M2 was rigorous, with the engine at 3.000 rpm and a professional phonometer placed at the distance recommended by the european rules (50 cm/19.6 inches). Bye! |
