Awsome! Did your tires suddenly get new tread as well! I will look in the maint manual for you when I get home and see if there is a "Recovery" protocal for the data. Red |

Haha. Not in the trip setting. Boogieman do I need to pull the whole fuse cluster or just one fuse? If the whole fuse cluster how do I go about doing that? |

Just fuse for the cluster I think it's marked instru or similar. To be sure check manual and or lid/cover of fuse block. |

yeah i think there are about 2500 miles on mine that aren't accounted for due to mine doing that. asked the dealer they had no idea came here and got the fuse advice, it worked. |

I gained 400 miles after some warranty work to replace the rectifier. Is it possible that this fuse trick could work for me? HD customer service wants me to remove the ECM and send it to the to fix it.. |

I had the same issue about 6 months ago! I was able to fix the issue by disconnecting the positive from battery for 30 seconds and then reconnect and correct mileage was restored. |

Kusib: at least they are offering it to be fixed when mine happened "there is no one available that knows how at the moco hq" is what I was told. So I took the free miles.... |

Kusib You got the 400 miles by them taking a very long hard test ride. |

Lol.. Being that I dropped it off and it rained the whole time they had it, I don't think it was a "Test Ride" It looked exactly how I left it. Also it gained about 12 hrs on the clock also. |

Kusib .. They replaced your regulator ? |

Yes. I noticed that on cold days I would loose my gauges and the HID's would cut out after I warmed up (within the first few miles). Once I got hip to when it happened I checked my voltage and it would get as high as 15 volts. this would over power the Ballasts for the HID's and put the gauges into some sort of protect mode. Finally after taking it to HD 3 times I decided to tow it there and start the bike on sight after it got cold so they could see the symptoms. End result was them replacing the Regulator/Rectifier 2 months after my warranty ran out! |
