Nobody's gonna get run off because of what they ride. Shoot, I showed up at Leakey year before last with a Road King...on a trailer! Of course, there was an S1 on there, too, but my point is still valid. This is about getting a few good folks together for some fun. Oh, and Brad--your popsicle stick is waiting! rt | ||

This is moving from dream-realm to reality. I need to start work on shipping our S2 to Texas. I had selected Dallas as the starting point on the (mistaken) premise that airfare would be less than to Austin. Its not. So where in Austin could I have it shipped to? A place with a forklift that would accept it and dispose of the crate for me, preferably. And maybe store it for a few days or weeks depending on the shipping process. | ||

Eric, I think most of the bike shipping companies here in the stays have roll on roll off kind of service. Using trailer with lifts on the rear and rigged inside for strapping bikes down, so no crate and not fork trucks needed if you go that route. Loren | ||

What Loren said. I recently sold a couple of bikes and shipped them to their new owners--both shippers strapped the bikes into the backs of their trucks , then covered them with shipping pads. I can't remember the names of the companies, though. rt | ||
