Just bought an integrated tail light for my 03 xb9s. My friend liked mine so much that he got himself one. I installed mine no prob so he asked me to install his.

My friend has an 04 xb12Scg. Hooked everything up the same way as I did mine but now when he turns his blinkers on you hear a loud "humm" (similar to what you hear when you turn your kill switch on before starting your bike) and there is no "blinking" on the taillight. It just comes on and doesn't blink.

He removed his front blinkers all together a while back - other than that I can't think of why the blinkers won't blink. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thats the problem. There is no load on the turn signal relay. Hook the fronts back up, or get a flasher relay designed for LEDs and it will work. American Sport Bike sells the flasher, you can also try modifying the stock one, it may help.
