"YES", and the magic word is "IMPROVISE" ... Have a SPORSTER OIL COLLER with a "THERMOSTAT", or did you miss that thought ??? (Message edited by buellistic on February 20, 2012) |

XB oil cooler uses SAE 45 degree fittings.

Depends on the oil cooler - the later XB's used "jiffy-tite" fittings. Stick to the earlier XB setup, with -AN fittings, if you want / need to make custom hoses. -AN can be found at any speed shop. |

Rat, as james said the XB cooler does not use -AN fittings. XB coolers use SAE 45 degree fittings. |

like Jramsey said, they are 45 degree fittings. I wouldnt use XB lines, probably cheaper and easier to fab your own lines. I plumbed mine just like Jramsey did and it works great! |

I do have a entire racing supply shop available to me so that won't be a problem. All the AN and braided I'll ever need!! It's actually a business. www.GRE6.com. He deals with a mostly circle track be he does have many other items that can apply to two wheelers. (Message edited by m2typhoon on February 21, 2012) |

Jramsey, How do you have that cooler mounted? I've been planning to do something similar. Thanks (Message edited by devdawg on February 23, 2012) |

here is my XB cooler... i dont have great pics of the oil lines run... but here is what i have- I also have a rear mount which is a long Stainless bolt, with a washer welded to the head that bolts to the rear oil cooler mount and then has another rubber clamp around the horizontal frame piece. |
