Your price seems to be typical of what people are asking, though I don't know how well bikes are actually transferring ownership at those prices. Just as a data point, a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine bought a flawless 2009 1125R in Hero Blue/White with 3400 miles on it. It was out of warranty, but he was able to get the harness update put on at factory expense as a condition of completing the sale. Asking price was $5000. Transaction was $4700. Being in warranty might help you. |

I think it's a bit high, but not too bad. I bought a 2009 Red CR with 20,000 miles for $3,000. The bodywork shows 20,000 miles (mildly dull, typical rock pits), but the bike is mechanically sound and runs great. Imagine my surprise when I went to register it in Texas this morning and the State refused to accept a taxable value below $5,100! Holy shit, these things didn't cost that *new* just a year+ ago! I ended up having to pay registration and sales tax for an extra $2100 of bike value that isn't there. I sure WISH I could find someone that would pay $5100 for it -- I'd sell it in a heartbeat and pocket the $2k! |

Sounds like it's ok for the state of Texas to cheat on their taxes, but not you. |

For what its worth, a friend of mine in NY bought a CR for $5400, and my cousin in Cali sold his CR for $5600, this within the last few weeks. I would love to find a $3k CR, can't get enough of them! |

How many miles? Mine has 24,000 miles.... You could maybe make an argument for $4k, but there's just no way the thing is worth $5100. |

I think it's worth every penny, and so will the right buyer. If someone responsible is on the fence about buying it...let them RIDE it. For an hour or so. |
