I bought this here on the board when I cut down my cam cover a few years ago. I thought I was going the replace the stock part since I bunged it up a bit when I removed it... but I just could't leave the stock cover off my bike, says too much about where it came from. Anyway the badwebber who sold this to me cut me a decent deal at the time, I think I paid $35 or $40 plus shipping. I'm asking $45 and shipping, though maybe it should be a bit more. If it's too much someone who knows just let me know. If you are someone who only uses our classifieds, just don't bother asking, I won't sell to you without some history of membership on badweb. Original price from the '01 accessory catalog was $14.95.
It is a kit, comes with a self tapping screw you use to set threads for the chrome or stainless allen head screws and allen wrench for securing the cover... and rivets if that is your preference. Just post here and we'll get in touch. Thanks (Message edited by littlebuggles on February 02, 2012) |

Hi Steve, I could use one to go along with my Lightning Pros Series cover, Brian.

Eric, I think Brin has a telepathic link to the Classifieds. I wondered if he'd be the buyer on this part. Basti, thanks. |

Haha, I just happened to check it then. I used to be much worse. I used to have BW send me an email every time someone posted to the Classifieds...No longer am I that addicted, lol. One of these days though I have a bunch of stuff to sell. |

Speaking of timer covers... and now that this one is sold... would anyone happen to have a stock one for an S3? I buggered mine up a bit taking it off... |

They're supposed to be about the same as this one sold for originally $14.95 or there-abouts. Someone, maybe it was Wilson, has posted it up here once or twice. Might wanna check your favorite Buell dealer on that on Mark. |

The S3 timer cover was black with the Thunderstorm logo on it. I'll check my dealer, but they weren't a Buell dealer before the XBs so I doubt they'd have anything in stock. |

Thanks, Dutch... If it's available from them then my dealer should be able to get it, too. $7... will never be that cheap on the 'bay, either. |
