I might have something for you. Are you sure they are 2003 forks ? Are you looking for stock or fancy hot-rod forks ? |

i was hoping stock but i was thinking if i can get ahold of a whole front end with the 14mm forks with the trees and all that would be ideal if not stock forks for an 03 buell xb9r firebolt would be great |

So you just want the tubes and lowers ? No trees or axle ? |

I need to know if you are sure it is the original front end to the bike as there was a big change in 2005. When I know what you need I will check to see if I have a complete front end or just the tubes and lowers. |

I will see what I have tomorrow and post up tomorrow night. If I don't have a 43mm set up do you have any interest in a 41mm ? Do you have any interest in a set of 41mm with traxion dynamics cartridges in them ? I have a bunch of stuff but don't remember what I got rid of and what I didn't so tomorrow I'll just post my whole front fork inventory and you can let me know if there is anything you want. |

Sent you a PM because I do have some interest in 41mm stuff, should be fine for road riding, don't expect to get on a track anytime soon and I know the oil in my current forks needs to be changed. I'd prefer if someone with damaged forks gets the first whack at them though. Also I thought you could buy the lower sliders fairly inexpensively and that is the part that is probably bent, might be able to repair the ones you have with standard Showa parts from half a dozen different metric bikes. |

Greg, there is nothing wrong with the 41mm stuff. I wouldn't have put expensive goodies inside them if they sucked. Some actually prefer them to the 43's as the wall thickness is thicker in the 41's. Some claim that they are stiffer than the new & improved 43's and some say they crash better because of the thicker wall. All I know is that I can't tell the difference without a micrometer and I'm sure 99% of folks couldn't. It's just the American way...we need the newer, bigger, better, faster, lighter and shinier stuff because....well...just because. like I posted earlier, I'll post all of my inventory tomorrow and give Joaofpinto55 first crack at it. |

OK boys, here is a list of what I have that I can let go. If you want something let me know what it is and make me a reasonable offer. I'm pretty easy and ain't trying to get rich off of fellow Buellers. That's what feebay is for. 1) one pair SCG 41mm with bent tubes 2) two pair XBR/S 41mm 3) one pair XBR/S 43mm 4) one right side XBR/S 43mm with bent tube 5) one left side XBR/S 43mm 6) three lower trees 43mm 7) two XBS/XT upper trees 41mm or 43mm 8) one XBR upper tree 41mm or 43mm 9) three front axles 10) one XBR front end axle to top tree 43mm Let me know what you need, I am going back to the garage to take some pictures. Some of this stuff has a scratch or two and some doesn't. |

I don't have the Traxion Dynamics forks, sorry. Is your bike super pretty or are a few scratches OK ? PM me your email and I'll get you pics of all the 41's I have... |

Stains, I have an 06 Uly (43mm, right?) that I lowered. How much shorter are the XBR's? |

I don't know the size difference off hand but I do know that you can slide the forks you have up through the trees to lower the bike. |

That's what I did, but if yours are shorter, I could keep the retaining ring in use. I just a little nervous just hanging it clamped |

I'm kind of interested in the bent forks, still thinking that tubes should be an easy and cheap part since I assume the larger aluminum upper is fine. Anyway when you get this settled someone let me know if there is a set of good 41mm to use with my 03R and maybe a buy a set. Don't really care what they look like as long as there won't be any issues clamping the uppers, attaching the axle, and they slide properly. if they are really ugly I can use them long enough to rebuild my "pretty" ones when the weather is warm enough to actually work outside. The bent ones might make good internal parts, and would probably work well to build a super deluxe compressor like the factory tool. |

Greg, that's why I bought the SCG's. The other bent one I got hosed on, oh well some day he'll get his... I'm not trying to sell a bunch of stuff I just saw a badwebber in need so I'm sure we'll have something for you. |

I'm not really in need, so if you want to keep stuff, that's cool with me too. I have about another $650 worth of computers I need to buy so I might decide I can't afford it anyway. |
