I know there have been a lot of posts on this, but does anyone know if there is a plain white Buell decal (just Buell) that I can use to cover up my current bubbling decal? I started picking at it and it seems to be coming off perfectly, like if I just cover up the Buell part with another decal I'd be good to go for a while. This is just a bandaid fix for now, I have a brand new in-the-box replacement rear fairing and windscreen painted in high voltage yellow, and plan to eventually get the tank and front fender repainted to match and put on the proper decals, since the fender has some slight damage to it as well. Just looking for an easy fix for now so I can clean it up and ride it! On another note, I am missing the front pulley guard and wondered if this differed in any way from later years, would like to get something on there as well? Are the S1/M2/S3 guards interchangeable?

Can't help you on the decal business - seems it'd be real hard to get it to line up nice, regardless. Someone may correct me, but I believe the pulley covers are backwards compatible (that is, the later ones were clearanced for the larger rear isos), so I think you're good to go, there. |

I bought a front pulley cover from a '02 Cyclone for my '96 S1, but any of them should fit. It is designed to work with the updated isolators, so I didn't have to cut my original pulley cover to fit. If I remember, it was only $5 or so from Buell. No idea if you can still get one from HD. |

As far as decals i would purchase the newer replacement style that are raised and adhered with trim tape sim to cars. I may be selling a s1 pully cover if i can get the one i want you still have the frame brace correct? |

I have a stock S1 pulley guard if you would like it I can mail it off to you, I think I paid $5-10 for it is all. Standard, self adhesive raised letters have been used by some decaled bike owners who carefully removed the decals (gently follow lines of decal with a razor to cut through the clear coat). You should be able to just stick them on where the old ones were if you are careful... or so I've read from others who've done that here. My 2000 M2 came with white stick on letters. Should be able to order them for not too much $$ through a supporting dealer. |

You didn't check with HD first? I bought new ones right before shut down for about $2/piece. That guy is a known profiteer on buying Buell parts cheap and reselling for profit, stay away. |

HD carries some. Others, like S2 they are sending out themselves to order...Yes, the raised ones are the better. |

Littlebuggles, Yeah, I'd definitely be interested. Anyone have a part # for the stick-on letters? |

While I'm asking questions, anyone know if either of these touch-up paint kits are still available through HD? 96010-96Y 96013-96Y |
