Trying to remove the swingarm from the mounting block. There is a 3/16" Allen bolt on the inner right side of the pivot pin. Does anybody know whether it is right or left hand thread? Do I even need to remove it or do I just tap the pin through with a piece of dowel? |

The 3/16" Allen headed bolt connects the right and left T-bushings (adjustment bolts in FSM)and is used for setting preload on the swingarm bearings(tapered roller). Yes it is right hand thread and needs to be removed to remove the swingarm. |

Here's the parts book breakdown, it doesn't show the left side threaded adjustment bolt.
