Any one know a trick to getting to the lower nuts to break them loose? Socket and box end don't fit because of the rear isolators. Open end can't get at them because they are recessed in the iso plate. Even if I remove the master and the kick stand switch they look impossible to get at. Do I really have to remove the swing arm??!! Right now that looks like the only solution. Tips and tricks gladly welcomed! |

Removing the right side plate makes for easier access to the nuts. |

I pushed a screwdriver between the nuts and frame to hold them in place .Then i could loose the bolts very easy. |

I spoke too soon... only one side broke free. Soaking in PB Blaster and if that doesnt do it I too will be drillin em Gmaan! There must be a recess that holds the nuts still.. just pushing against them with a finger held them tight enough to snug em down. |

Give them a good rap with a brass punch, kinda like the front rotor screws. The back of the head is stuck to the powder coating. Drilling them out is easy. Just drill enough to pop the head off, and the rest of the bolt and nut will fall out the back. |

I gave them several good thwacks hoot with no luck.. I'll give em another crack after work. Dynamite would definitely work but... It might chip the powder coat. ![; )](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/winker.gif) |

Yeah, it didn't work for me either, but some have had luck with it. I drilled mine out. Not the footpeg mounts, but the frame section. Same kind of bolts, with the same sticking problem. |
