Being a new Blast owner/fan... Would like to know from all of you seasoned Blast owners which Mods can be done in the categories mentioned in the Subject line, listed from least to most expensive. Make sense? For Example: Aesthetic - Remove Passenger Pegs - FREE Thought it might be a little fun and informative. Thanks and as always, I look forward to hearing back... Brian D Ft Lauderdale |

Comfort: Corbin seat (but there are other brands-most can be customized when ordered direct). $200-$600 Handlebars. 'Superbike' bars make the bike feel more like a motorcycle, less like a scooter. $25. Safety: Pirelli tires if your Blast didnt come with them already. $130 a set. Performance: Ditch the stock exhaust for a V & H or Jardine. $200-$400 I could list and itemize, but those are the basics. Aesthetics is a matter of taste, but some think the Blast is beautiful as-is! |

What are the specifics of the "Superbike" bars? Thanks! |

I went w/a set of take-off 1125Cr clubman bars and the appropriate bar risers/adapters. Looks wiggy, has the Buell marking and all the holes for the controls were already drilled in the correct locations. YMMV, Nels |

It should be remembered that what looks good or feels good in the garage, may be your own personal nightmare on the street. So avoid committing too much money to a look you wont enjoy (or be safe) riding. |

What GearHead said. My experience was that Superbike bars made the bike seem more surefooted in corners. I always felt that the stock bars felt kind of unnatural. Of course, you may hate them. The good news is that they're really cheap. If you don't like 'em, you've lost $20 and and whatever time it took you to install them. |

PS You can also run them upside down for the clubman effect! 2 bars, 1 price! If you like it low, then you can opt for clubmans, clip-ons, Laverda's, etc., later. You can also raise them up with an addition of risers. |
