Found a lazy man's way of invoking a new search for "Messages since I last searched for new messages": I don't close the Search Results window when done with the browser, just hide the browser. The next time I want to check new messages, I just unhide and refresh the page. Bonus: I don't even have to remember how to spell my username or figure out which of the umpteen passwords it might be. Disgusting, isn't it.  | ||

New Topic: Are there any patches, pins, t-shirts or other bling available? One of the reasons I joined in the first place is because I am a bad weather biker, always have been, and I'd love to wear a shirt that stated as much. | ||

Hey guys, Is there a way to go back and view past PM's that I've sent or received to other inmates? I know I can send a copy to my email when first sending, but what about earlier ones where I didn't click that option?? thanks mike | ||

Mike, everything with private messages is done via email, so if you didn't check the box to send yourself a copy, you are out of luck. | ||

Under the poster screen name <-------- how about putting in there location as listed in there profile page. example: Jcs amsterdam, NY I like looking for local people and it sucks to have to pull up the profile page. just a thought, Jeff | ||

selling used motorcycle gear sucks I'm wondering if you could put up a gear trade page up so we could trade gear. I have been surfing the classifieds here and see several gear for sale but most of the time there is no sale, unless it's Buell gear. For instance I have a pair of Vansen racing leather pants size 42 I can no longer wear. worn twice and I know I won't be able to get what I paid for them. Most of the other gear I had I gave away to my students this year. what do you think? | ||

Excellent Kathy! Thanks for participating. It needs a major updating, but just haven't had the time. When we started PIF, I wasn't working and had more free time. I do good to "kinda" keep up with the BRAN every 3-6 months. | ||

In the classifieds you should be able to edit the original post indefinitely and have it bump it to the top at that point. As I sell things I need to continually copy and paste then post a new one so you get the same posts over and over. It would also be nice to be able to hit archive or delete for the entire post when it is done to avoid getting the bad webers asking for things that you sold 7 posts before not there fault just is what it is | ||

When I try to post in the AMA section it says its private. Whats up with that? Other people are posting there. Do they have some kind of clearance that I do not or is there some kind of glitch? | ||

If you mean the "AMA Pro Road Racing!" section, that's the "Interview with Goeff May - BadWeB Style" page. It looks like you have to open the Comments link at the bottom of the page to post your comments. Try that. | ||

Blake... The BadWeb refuses to remember my login credentials. I'm using IE9. I've done all sorts of googling and have tried a few fixes as well as messing around with stuff myself. Any ideas? It remembers the UID in the auto complete (but I have to choose it from a list, it doesn't just put the UID in for me like other websites), but refuses to remember the password. | ||

LOL... For some reason when I posted that, then hit "back" to go back to the main badweb page it asked if I'd like IE to remember the password... WTH? | ||

M1, I use LastPass to fill in mine, as browsers seem to pick and choose when they want to autofill. Lastpass fills it in every time, and on every browser, including my phones/tabs. | ||

How about a page for ErikBuellRacing? They aren't Buells but I think a lot of BadWebbers would like to have an easy to find page to discuss the EBR bikes, especially soon when the new models come out. What I do now is badweb google search for EBR. Thanks for an already great site! | ||

why not rooms specific to bike models. for photos.. instead of readers rides... have a gallery of sorts for all m2, s1, x1, xbs, etc... when you click on the image, it could take you to that particular members page with other pics, bio, etc.. a better search engine for the site per page. im new here and maybe this has already been discussed, but the site seems a bit dated? not to be offensive, just my two cents. |
