So, finally after messing around all summer trying to get the bike running again and putting the new headlight on. She lives and better than ever!

His front and rear rotors are custom cut by a machine shop in Savannah, GA.
quote:The front and rear rotors I had professionally cut by a machinist in Savannah, GA the company is called Quality Machine (912-232-5680) they also cut the rotors on my R1. They do a great job and its ten times cheaper than wave rotors. There is no braking advantage however. They are more for looks than anything.

Yeah, you're definitely going to need to post some more info on that headlight setup. |

It's the Fire Hesa Headlight unit. It comes in black or chrome and the cheapest I found it for was $260 from streetfightersinc.com. I also put a 6000k HID in the low beam ( it's super bright). And the high beam is a silver star 55w from autozone. There is a built in LED Halo around the high beam that looks cool at night. The headlight mounts I got from Aztec 8 out of FL great mounts. I also used them for the speedo mount. I drilled holes in the headlight mount so I could mount those clear flush mount blinkers. |

I like it from the front forks back to the rear tire. The white plastics, silver frame, blacked-out engine - it looks really good. Sorry but I'm not seeing the beauty of the headlight. |

Caleb, do you travel through Aberdeen, NC at all? I've seen a bike that looks very similar to yours very often. But the rider seems to be just passing through town as I've always had to spin a loop and try to catch him. Never works out though due to all the silver hairs in this town!!! If its you, shoot me a PM |

I like it--it looks nimble and mean; like a Buell should... |

Oh man.... Ohhhh man. I want that front rotor bad. How much did it cost? Looks like you did something similar to my headlight I built. I've always been a fan of vertical offsets.

It ran me around $65. Your bike looks good! I'm a fan of the verticals |

is it cut from scratch, or you brought him your rotor to be cut? Does he balance it after, or just assumes the cuts are in perfect radial symmetry? |
