Did EBR have to add the 20 pound ballast block for this race? |

"Did EBR have to add the 20 pound ballast block for this race?" I went ahead and emailed EBR about this. Response: "No, but we forgot to take it off!" That makes Geoff's accomplishment that much more spectacular. |

"No, but we forgot to take it off!" That is a good indicator of how far development of the 1190RS has come, add the weight, forget about it, and move forward.... Congrats, Geoff and E B R!!! |

Lets hope they fix the track and do something about the wall the riders are concerned about. Be a shame for someone to get hurt because of a known hazard. |

LOL Kinda thought so.Erik's bike I don't think its gonna happen over night. I quite sure the bike is the right tool. Other factory teams and privateer teams like Jordan have spent alot of money getting results that EBR has yet to get and I know they will get in due time. Going to take a bunch of work. I think they are up to it though. Amazing that the Jordan team on last years bikes were almost a second faster than the lap record during a test session. I thought EBR would be closer. They have some time to catch up and I am sure they are working their tails off to catch up. |

I remember landing at Homestead in a Hercules many years ago when it was a National Guard airbase Is it now a full time race circuit or is it still an airfield as well? |

I wouldn't sweat the jordan bikes being faster....Geoff was at a club race and probably not running to his or the bikes potential. The old racer's adage is to win as slowly as possible. The Jordan test had two very motivated team mates on bikes they have ridden all year and feel comfortable on. God knows you always want to beat your team mate on the same equipment, test or race... |

I'm not sweating the Jordab bikes or Pegrams BMW being faster by any means. What I am slightly worried about is when Young and Hayes show up and are .5-1 second faster than them. |

Yes, I see your point! Although both roger and B Boz were giving Hayes and Young everything they could handle at the last race in new jersey.... |
