i would take another buell without all the problems that i've had in the past with electrical problems. also would have to come with chain drive/race exhaust. i love buell. just wish i had the money to do all the custom work i want. |

Surprised that a Street Triple is not on that list? I forgot to put it on the list, and really it's more likely than either of the KTM's. If I sell my 1125R it's replacement will probably be a 2 or 3 year old model, not a new bike. I need to try and swing some more time on the 675 Street Trip as well as try a 1050 Speed Triple without annoying the local Triumph dealer too much. I found the Street Trip seat really locks you in and you slide toward the tank, other than that it was really impressive. If $$$ weren't an issue an 848 Streetfighter would be high on the list. |

IF you were to replace your "1125" what would it be? Thats a "No brainer".... An 1190 of course! Ther're a lot of great bikes out there right now but I am a true Buell guy with the best street bike I have ever owned, my 1125R and will stick with EBR. Thanks ERIK! |

I sure like that Duc Panigale and the price right now is more comfortable then EBR's. I sure hope Buell lowers theirs to make the total street version more affordable. At any rate I'm probably on my last bike so I'll just dream a little..... |

Ive been looking at the new triumph explorer. Sweet looking bike and some great specs. Also the Yamaha super tenere, a little low on HP, but still a sweet bike. |

Another 1125R. 2008 of course. If I hit the Lotto - an 1190RS Graphite full tilt boogie. If I can't afford that at the time, an RD-400. Z |

I've had mine advertised for a little while with no bites, so I took my 1125R, Ronin, down to the Triumph dealer on wednesday, prepared to do a deal on a Street Triple R... or a Thruxton... The fact I still couldn't decide which should have told me something. As I was waiting for them to work out what trade-in they could offer (which took quite a while) I checked out the two bikes, and as nice as they were it didn't seem right to hand over my 1125 and pay them cash. When the trade in value was less than I'd hoped and they weren't going to budge on price on either Triumph I was in some ways a little relieved I realised I think that the 1125R is too much bike to give away for the low prices they're going for around here, so rather than spend a few thousand trading to something else, I'm going to spend up to $1,000 trying to fix the few things I don't like about it. So for the moment Ronin stays |
