My 2009 uly is up for warranty shortly and I am noticing a oil leak. It is showing up on the top side of the muffler around the rear metal exhaust band. Any idea where that would be coming from. It appears the under side of the case is wet but I can't seem to track it. Is this something warranty might cover? Also any other things you guys can suggest to have looked at while the warranty is still good? My side bags leak like a sieve The rusty muffler issue I would love any help. I'm pretty new to my baby and want to look after her! |

Your rear rocker box is leaking. If you are mechanical do the job yourself. It takes about 3 hours if you go real slow. |

Take off the seat and see if it is coming from up high on the motor. Either way, it is no problem to get taken care of under warranty. |

The transmission/primary vent is also there. So is the starter motor gasket. |

There are breather vents on top of each rocker box cover as well. they are rubber push in type fits connected to tubes. mine were seeping a bit. i just pushed them back in tight and they stopped. may be worth checking. |

Mine had the same leak; it turned out to be the rear cylinder base gasket. It went in to be replace under warranty 3 times (the third time they replaced some hard parts as well, as it seemed apparent to not be the gasket). Nothing on the top of the motor (rocker boxes, breathers, etc) normal can seep enough to soak the muffler. My bet is on a Base gasket or starter gasket. |
