Just finished rookie school with the worst case of the flu that I have ever had. My instructors were very pleased with the effort that I put forth the past few days, some of them not knowing that I had the flu until later in the day. I'm not one of these people that will not let you know at all, A few of the instructors are almost deaf. Time to take some drugs and call it a day...............later. Eric |

Cowboy, I went to school here in North Carolina. We use to go to the rookie school for the city of Winston-Salem, NC. They taught only house fires and that was about it. My class was the first class for the company rookie school(RJR Packaging which is a part of R J Reynolds Tobacco Co.). The reason we started are own rookie school was the lack of proper training from the city in the type of fires and hazards we face. Saro, Thanks Eric |

Eric, Congrats! Understand what you went thru. I work at a Oil refinery here in Tx and they send us to Industrial Fire fighting school at Tx A&M every few years. Its cool to realize the different industries that need extra fire protection! Craig |
