Stick with the 08 man a different year could have slight differences in things like wire color if chasing wiring gremlins. I do not know for a fact that the 8 and 9 manuals are different, but I don't see any advantage of a 9 book for an 8 bike. Also get the factory buell book those clymers and haynes are junk. |

I have a slightly used '08 it's in perfect condition except for a slight bit of dirt on the edges from my dirty hands while working on my bike.I only used it twice. I own an 09 and ordered the 09 but got the 08 I used it before I noticed it was the wrong book. Make me an offer. This way you get the book you need at a discount and I don't have to pay for a second book and loose out on the whole price. |

Get the book that matches your year. I don't believe there were any procedure updates from 08 to 09, but you will find out the hard way like Roy did that the 08's need some things done differently than 09's. |
