I don't know if anyone cares, but I feel like sharing. My son, and hopefully future rider, was born today Dec. 9th at 1:25 PM, 10LB, 4oz. 22 in. long. Everyone is excited, especially my soon to be 3 year old daughter, who says "I'm the big sister, thats my little brother." I'm glad it's a boy, got one of each now and I'm done, to quote my father, "I'm not screwing myself away from the dinner table!" Justin

Congrats Justin, Glad to hear about another proud father. My wife gave birth to our daughter (first one) on Saturday 12/06 at 11:49 pm. 5lbs 9oz and a month ahead of schedule. That was my question on the Battletwins web site. Do they make Buell pocket bikes? |

Congratulations! You don't know just how much joy kids are going to bring into your lives. Every time I thought,"This is it! It can't get any better!" I was wrong. I've got two daughters, a 12 and a 14 year old, and Newfie's right - the time flies. |

Crusty, 12 is a very challenging age for me anyway!!!! Especially when the child is as stubborn, indecisive, self-centered, and good looking as her father ..... well she got her mothers looks and MY personality (which absolutely drives the wife crazy) - Some days I pity the child!!!!! |

Thanks all. You guys are right, they do grow up fast, just seems like yesterday I brought the Buell home and... oops, I mean Hannah, hee hee. But seriously, I wouldn't give them up for the world, I love my kids, watching my daughter be such a daredevil reminds me of me which worries me. One good thing when they act like you, you'll know exactly what there doing when they get older, my dad always knew, or just made very acurate assumtions of what I had done the night before. I've been teaching my daughter the essentials of the real world lately, she knows the words Jackass and Bullshit, and how to use them, she even knows how to give you tall man (from where is thumbkin), now thats hilarious when you're walking thru Wal-mart and look down and she has both middle fingers up going, "look daddy, I made tall man". This "fun" will inevitably backfire in my face one of these days, I haven't heard anything from daycare yet, but I feel the day is coming. Justin |

JD, my grandson just turned a year old & is just starting to say a few words...not very often tho. Anyways I have been trying to teach him the phrase "help help i've been kidnapped". My daughter gets pissed because I tell her its going to be funny if he says it in a mall & she gets arrested for kidnapping her own son I keep telling her that paybacks are a bitch. |

Hahahahah!! That's a good one, I'm going to teach my brother's daughter to say to every man she meets "are you my daddy?", she's just to damn cute to be his! Bradj, At least I have about 13 years to get used to the fact she'll be a menace on the streets, I'll be starting her early on dirt bikes, earlier the better, just got to get that thru to the wife, my dad started me out when I was 4 or 5 and I've been loving it ever since. People tell me I act just like my father, but I've broken alot more bones and given my mother plenty of gray hair.

Dyna that's rude! My wife has had people pull out cell phones and threaten to call 911, she was attempting to get an autistic kid to the car. Now while I got a laugh, she was less than amused. I have had the same kid in a headlock and worried if the neighbors call the police and they walk in on me right now, I am going straight to jail without passing GO and collecting my $200. Kids are great, they're just a bit of a trial sometimes. |

Cheers from your neighbor here at IUP!! Starting them young I think is key. I am the youngest of 5, there are 15 years between the oldest and myself. I have 8 nieces and nephews and just celebrated the 1st birthday of my grand-nephew. My one niece is only 6, she started riding horses since she has been old enough to sit in the saddle, and now can ride a little pony all by herself. She has a little 50cc dirt bike that we cant keep her off of, she tears up my sister's horse farm with it. She is absolutly fearless, and loves the loud "Bull" that I ride. Someday Justin we will have to ride, I did hit route 56 on my way home one time, was a splendid ride. I hit that big mountain twice just for the fun of it. I will be coming to Johnstown tommorrow so the misses can visit some friends on the way back home for winter break. Take care, I am sure you will have the Merriest of Christmas's. Brian Cessna |

If three dudes on Buells show up bearing gifts from DaveS, your Christmas lights go on without being plugged in, and if all the neighborhood squirrels and stray cats show up on your doorstep, your baby MIGHT be a couple of days late. edited by bradj on December 10, 2003 |

Brian, Still looking for a bike my wife won't bitch about, trying to find a Yamaha Road Warrior for cheap, she seems to like them. Hopefully I can afford one by spring. I'll let you know when I get something on the road and we'll ride. Man, I'm gonna need a second job to keep up with two kids, a Longaberger basket collecting wife, a drag bike that still needs lots of stuff, the "I need another bike on the street fund", and the list just goes on and on. |

Well, everybody's home and healthy, except for the wife, I think she is very ill! She just agreed if I can get a good price, I can buy another X1! (after we get a van). If I can get everything worked out I'll have one by spring! |
