Sure, I'll take a few. In other news, I just finished dumping an awful lot of money into the Blast. One of Dan's intakes, a Jardine, rejetting, shimming the needle, removing unneeded junk... *GRINS* That bike is amazingly fun once you get rid of the stock exhaust cork! It's loud, and surprisingly quick for what it is. ... need moar. Anyone have an XB9 head laying around? |

Russ, no XB9 heads, but I do have 1125 rear signals...If I can recall correctly you had asked about them before. and sorry I didnt get to stick around yesterday and say hi at the light. We were heading to breakfast. Stacey took off, and I didnt want to leave her alone as she is still a bit nervous riding by herself. |

No worries, just was saying hi. I was heading to help a friend move, hence the wagon. I wouldn't mind another set of 1125 rear signals. They're quite useful to swap in place of the XB type signals. How much do you want for the set? |

Free sound good? I don't need them really, and they aren't really worth THAT much. |

Hmmm, what to do this weekend...
191 and Emory Pass, only about 700 miles, but it should do to cure the PMS. Shame I have to ride all those damn freeway miles to do it. |

Well, just be careful. It's cold enough even down there that in some of those mountain roads, there may be some slick stuff, especially if they've had any precipitation lately. |

For those of you who think riding the mountains in November isn't fun, you're wrong. Yes temps were in the 40s most of the day (and even in the 30s here and there) but it was well worth it! Proper gear and good wind protection can let you ride almost all year. Unless you're in Phoenix, then all you need is a mesh jacket. Had a great time riding and shootin the $hit with you Bart. Looking forward to next time!

I had a great time! the roads were sweet, and best of all, NO BUGS! LOL I took a new route to Alpine and ended up going through Reserve, NM. Great road, can't wait to do it again in May for the SpringFast ride. Alpine fire Damage
Kelly at one of the overlooks
HWY79, between Clifton and Glenwood, CJ should remember this spot, he performed CPR on Daryl Levesque back in 2003 during the BRAG TorqueFest ride. RIP I put the Buell sticker on the guardrail last May during the SpringFast ride, as someone took down the marker.
The Chino/Santa Rita open pit mine outside of Silver City
I LMAO when I saw this deer sign and had to turn around and get a picture, look closely
It's still nice enough to ride, if you've got the gear. Heck, it was 65 degrees here when I got home. Let's RIDE! |

Great photos, Bart! Looks like you guys had a good time! I was in Philadelphia all weekend. Gave my dad his gun that I bought him for his 60th birthday last year. Took forever to get it in. Rossi Ranch Hand in .45 Colt. Just like the one Steve McQueen used in Wanted Dead or Alive. Ran the half marathon, too. My training had not been going well due to my travel and work schedules, but I had already paid for it, so made sense to just run even if I didn't hit my goal time. I did a 2:17, which is not my slowest at that distance, so I'm relatively happy. Going to run St. Petersburg in February. Trying for 1:59. Two guys died running the race. A 21-year-old and a 40-year-old. Media said both were apparent heart attacks, but I suspect that they had some other undiscovered ailment that became critical once they were dehydrated and low on sodium, glycogen, etc. Bart, I'm going to try to find time this week to meet up. I'll call ya. |

Not to take anything away from May or EBR, but is that really competition for them? When you've been racing all season against the best in the AMA, are these other riders of that caliber? |

He was racing against a few other AMA riders, but the big deal was braking the track record. Doesn't matter how you are racing against. Breaking the record is something awesome. |

I agree - winning is nice, but breaking the track record by half a second is the really impressive part. Doesn't matter who you're racing against or on what motorcycle you're on - if you can get around the track faster than anyone else has ever gotten around the track, you're clearly on a very competent machine. No matter how good you are, you're not going to break that record on a Blast. ... so, heated gloves or heated grips? It's flipping COLD riding into work. |

I say heated gloves... grips only heat the inside of your hands. |

I prefer heated grips. Got them on all the bikes now except the S2. I have a pair of widder electric gloves you are welcome to borrow. I used them maybe once last winter. The grips work that well for me. |

I've never had heated gloves, so don't know. I've only had heated grips these past two winters and I really like them. Prior to that I just froze. |
