I have an 2004 XB12S It has a fireb olt reat end on it. I am after a lightning rear end to improve the long distance ride comfort, as im ridicng multiple day rides more often. by day 2 my but is dead. i need a more comfortable ride. will an X1 rear end bolt to a 2004 lightning ? |

Sell it and buy a Uly. (not a smart ass response, that's really what you should do). |

The X1 tail will not work without who knows how much work. Best/cheapest solution? Get a touring Firebolt seat, American Sport Bike just came out with a few new ones that will do the trick. Alternatively, put the XB Lightning tail back on it. |

What did Brankin do with his Ulybolt? Was that a Uly with a firebolt front end? Or was it a firebolt with a Uly tail section? That might work, but it might need an XB12SS (whatever the long frame one was called). |
