Love them on my bike, lasted fairly well considering it's a sports tyre, definatly give them a go.

They are great, did 2 track days so far on them: the hot day they really started to throw tire buggers and melt, the cold day they heated up quickly and really handled it well.

Replaced stock Corsa's with Power Pures last month. The bike has a different feel for the better!!!! I'm more confident on the road and the track. So much so that I was finally able to reduce my lap times a bit. Last track day was 100 degrees (F) and tires wore well.

I have put about 3500 miles on a set of Power Pures. Nothing wrong with them and they do wear well. They still have probably a couple thousand miles left in them.

The front definitely has a sharper profile, I noticed easier turn in immediately and the bike felt a bit less stable. One thing I noticed after installing a GPR steering damper was the front end tended to wander cruising on the highway.

I recently changed to Dunlop Q2's. In traction it feels much more planted, turn in is quick but feels more controlled, and the "wandering" on the highway has disappeared Overall I feel a lot more confidence leaned over than I did on the Pures. On top of that, the Q2's are cheaper. Just my 2 cents.

interesting comparisons - i just changed from Q2 (which I loved) to the Power Pure this week. I have not left the garage with them yet so nothing to say about them.

I would have to agree with Freight, the Q2's made me feel much more confident than the stock pirelli's ever did, haven't tried the Pures, sorry. The Q2's feel very planted, especially leaned over on the track, maybe a little slower on turn in, but it feels very controlled. And they are inexpensive and wear pretty well so far.

How do the Pures and the Q2's compare for mileage? I am considering one of these two tires to replace my Conti Road Attack's.

I love the Q2s.

I got nearly 6k miles on a set of Q2s, but that was mostly gentle commuting/touring. I'm planning to get a set of Pilot Road 3s, if that tells you how hard my riding is...

They stick like glue, though. They're absolutely amazing tires.

I love the Pure. Profile is halfway between the stock tire and the 2CT, which I loved, but ate em up to fast. The Pures wear better than either the stocker or the 2CT, best of both worlds.

I found them really odd at first, till I got the pressures right for me and my setup. They seem to be somewhat more sensitive to pressure, with only a 2-5 psi window before you start noticing it. Not a bad thing, tho. When they're right, they are fantastic.
FWIW, YMMV.

I can definitely see what Carbon is saying, the Pures are about the lightest street tire out there and would be sensitive to pressure.

Otherwise, I was just responding to say that I don't have enough miles on the Q2's to know how they wear, but I can say that the Power Pures wear really well. They definitely have held up better than the Pirelli's did. If you want a responsive tire that will give most of us a good 5000 miles and a lot more if you like to run em until you see cord, the Pure is a good choice.

I will have to differ, the Q2's are terrible, junk tires as far as I am concerned, Pures have a much better ride, the lighter weight makes the bike feel more nimble. Just put a set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa's on and with only one ride I can tell this is a superior tire. Motorcycle PowerHouse http://www.mphbikes.com/(Geoff Mays store) has them for 295.00 a set, for 20-30 dollars more you can have a top shelf tire.

I got less than 100 miles on a new set of Pures. So far they are quicker than the Corsa but I can smoke them up a bit easier.34 and 36 psi.Have a track day coming up in OK on the 21st and will play with them and give a report.

I finally got to put the Pures to some great Ozark back roads yesterday.Compared to the Corsas they seemd a little easier to spin and the front "fell" into curves.Quicker but not as smooth a transition as the Corsas. As they started getting scrubbed in and hotter these problems seemed to go away.Still quick and more sticky but not quite as nervouse. As I got to pushing harder I also noticed the chicken strips are a lot closer to the same width front and back than the Corsas.I don't know if this is good or bad but the more I rode the better they felt. Can't wait to get to the track and play with the air preassuer.I was running 34/36 on the street.FWIW.
