Steve any amount would help. Just like last year at Splash when everyone pitched in it went towards Cody's new bike. I cannot say enough for the support you show us when our friends show up to watch Cody. Together we are raising a well rounded kid. Bob, get in line behind me since he flattened my wallet already. Yes. As Stu says, we regret that the Canadian contingent has to bail out on the Saturday-in-Seattle party. I was looking forward to it immensely. Unfortunately, reality has reared its ugly head, and so, between work, Xmas party, obligations with the kids, and lack of greenbacks, we have each and all been trumped on the event. I hope we can get together at the show on Sunday, although given the price of beers there we may want to adjourn to a neighbouring water-hole. We'll be leaving the Langley area about 9am, so arriving at Seattle about 12? What say a 2pm meeting at a suitable location? |

The best thing I ever did was learn how to ride a motorcycle... or was that merry Mike who dreams about motorcycles? Seriously I would not have met this group of people, I could not ask for a better group of best friends. People who not only stand by you, but also your kids, even when they are a "known registered kid hater" as Uncle Bob would say he is. Cody is so fortunate to be blessed with such a fine support group. Mike hit the nail on the head when he said, "we are all raising this kid", the influence you guys have had on him has been amazing. To the Man/Lady with rubber stamping on their body (that is how Cody referred to Galen and Debi before he could remember their names) who allowed Cody to escort them on their ride to Cali (he was 4 and took them a block down the street and had to turn around on his little 50- man did he feel like a million bucks), to Chris and Lonnie who have spent more time battle tracking with Cody, to Steve who organized Sunday rides that finished at Cody's race, to Sharon and Gumby for letting Cody ride in Thundercross and giving him awards (man he loves that), to Duane for taking time to visit with Cody whenever he is here, FiremanJim for wrestling with Cody this summer, Ray for you kind words and encouragement (everyone for that matter), everyone who donated to his little boot in the park this summer and the Canadians who supported Cody up north. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys. Kimberlie edited by kimberlie on December 04, 2003 |

Mike and Kim, To two of the best parents I have known: You are both the best and I want to thank you both and Cody for allowing me to enjoy Cody's experiance at the track. It was so exciting to watch such a young man excell and become #1 this year (and years to come I am sure)! Cody, I hope you always find the enjoyment of riding a motorcycle weather it is on the race track, road, or in the dirt. I will always be your fan and I am looking forward to many years of watching you ride. Look, lean and roll little man! So who is going to the Pyramid Saturday Night? Loni |

I am going to the Beer Hall Saturday Night! Speaking of wich, RAY, I for one, am a much more interesting driver after a few brew's. Spent the last couple Sat's at the BuellNuts garage. First tearing down the front rocker too the tappets, looking for the "noise". Again nothing. The next putting it back together. I'm getting pretty good at that manuver...and it's nice to see BOB and Debbie, but....WHAAAAAA. I want to go too fast again! I haven't got to chase anyone in a meaningfull way for sooo long. -sigh- Sorry I won't be seeing you Kim. Am proud to be the Illustrated Man for Cody, I remember that little ride! He thought he was going to Laguna too! sooner, Galen |

Kim, It takes Great people to raise a great kid! You two! or should I say young Man. I don't mean to get sappy but, going to one of Cody's races and him offering a hug, made my day, not too mention watch him race and the proud look on Mom and Dad 's faces. Ride to live! Best of wishes for the holidays. |

Saturday morning and Mike and I are having coffee wondering what to do today. I think were going to the Triumph Shop and to SB motorsports and just general goofing around. I believe we will be at the pub tonight to visit with whoever shows. Who is coming? |

Hi Everyone! Well we just got home. What a great time in Seattle this weekend! The IMS show was nice Saturday, and Sunday was even better with all our friends! The time we spent at the Pub was also a good time (Deb and Theresa, I think my big brother likes you two). It was so nice to see everyone. Wish we could of ran into the Canadian Bunch, does anyone know if they showed up? Well hope that everyone arrived home OK. Ferris, must of missed you! How are things going for you? Are you planning to be here for SPLASH 2004? I will be preparing the details in the next few weeks. Kim and Lisa we missed you also! Kim I told Mike we were going to drop by the CD with all the pictures of Cody that Chris took of him this last summer. When do you leave? Maybe we can get together for dinner? Take out pizza, or ?? The Seattle version of the International Motorcycle Show was really cool. It was great to see Bob, Debbie, Teresa, Galen, Mike, Eric, Chris & Loni again. KTM wasn’t represented but everyone else seemed to be there with all their new stuff. I think the best part of the show was the stunt team running around in the Steel Ball of Death. If you saw them you know how scary it was but if you didn’t see the show the picture really doesn’t show it properly. Then they finished the show by doing a back flip: Ray’s next bike: It’s all in the details, but unfortunately, this photo doesn’t show the details. Trust me, this bike is awesome!

The Canucks did make it down, but a day late to meet up with y'all, I believe. Jim, Stu, and I arrived Sunday about noon and left at closing. Regrets not to have seen any of ya but I think you were all there on Saturday? Highlights: the brew pub across the street (great find, thanks, Loni(?)),the new R1, and the new ZX10. Not that I'd be buying either. They have far to many cylinders. In fact, we've wrapped up the day with the conclusion that this year's motorcycle funds for Jim and I both (assuming, on my part, that there is such a fund), should be spent on bikes with a quarter the cc.s or less. Motorcycling and family time CAN be combined if you do it in the dirt! And Stu's gonna show us how not to do it! I've spotted the SPLASH 2004 header and will be paying close attention. Good to see that you've got it off the ground. We're all in for that one!!!

Ferris, must of missed you! How are things going for you? Are you planning to be here for SPLASH 2004? hi Loni i was just kidding in my post above about being up there, just fishing for a reply or two, i suppose. things are good here, working 12-14 hour days at new job sucks a bunch, but it has to be. i'm now legally single, btw. am going to the Long Beach IMS this weekend with Denise. we'll be there all three days, really looking forward to it. SPLASH '04 for me is iffy, a definite maybe at best. i've got a feeling more people would show up for Four-Play and SPLASH if they knew i wasn't coming, anyway. Happy Hoolidays to you all. |

You’re single and employed? Hey, I’ve got a cute sister that doesn’t spit indoors very much and is looking for a serious relationship with a man that has a pulse and traces of brain wave activity. |

Sportyeric, We were all there Sunday until about 2:00. Sorry we missed you! It was a good show. The Brewery was Duanes idea, and a good one at that. Thanks Duane! Ferris, What is the new job? Any job sucks when you want to just get out and ride. The new Harley is just begging to get out! So is the owner. HA! Enjoy the show. Plan your trip to be here for SPLASH 2004 July 15, 16, 17th! Happy Hoolidays to you too! Loni |

Ferris, I have twin 26 yr old daughters who are looking for a mature (not old), well employed, Californian-With-A-conscience to commune with. They are located, of course, in the Seattle are. College educated. Out-doors-women. Simple. Unencumbered. Then again, maybe you're not up to it. |

Twins?? In Seattle?? Sheesh, I'm only up there a couple of times a month!!! I'm young, employed, degreed, and shower daily. Any chance?? Nice to see everyone @ IMS Seattle, and the dinner meet Saturday night. Didn't really see anything at the show I couldn't live without, except for the LasVegasExtremes DVD series and the chat w/JoJo and her autographed photo. Had a long talk with two of the gentlemen from 2Fast track instruction out of Snohomish. Am definitely interested in attending. Other than that, it would have been nice to have found some folks learned in Triumph suspension set-ups, but looks like I may splurge for the RaceTech emulators. I have to get my vacation time request in soon, so looks like SPLASH dates are set, but anyone who cares to share dates of other rides/events going on, please email me (ericsg@ericsg.com). |
