Hey guys I picked my bike up from the shop yesterday and it was shifting perfect this morning I stalled out shifting into gear with the clutch pulled in!! I have a minor weep that causes it to be low on fluid every 8,000 miles. Well I added fluid to it and now it doesnt stall when shifting into gear but its very clunky between gears and finding neutral is a B**** is there anything else I need to do Or did I get air in my hydraulic line??? | ||

I just went and did It as soon as I saw the bleeder my mechanical instinct kicked in! But that fixed it! Thanks again guys | ||

Now, being that you had it in the shop for a stator anyway, why didn't you have your leak fixed? | ||

Previous owner dropped this one going about 20 mph and shaved a little off the puck! I've been meaning to order a new one but it hasn't caused a single issue in 8k miles(other than a super slow seep). So its not at the top of my priority list | ||

I didn't think my clutch weep to be a big issue until it ate the letters off my HMF muffler. | ||

So its not at the top of my priority list The puck is just a cover; it has nothing to do with causing or preventing the leak. The leak occurs in the cylinder/piston/seal behind the puck and is a known issue on 1125's. | ||

For what it's worth, my clutch cover/puck were rashed up after a low side, but the internals were not damaged and continued to operate leak free for a few thousand miles after that. Once it did start leaking, the dealer replaced the cover and the slave cylinder under warranty. Worst case for you is they replace the slave cylinder under warranty and you live with the rashed up cover. | ||
