Love the rubber bung as temporary gas cap. Way to persevere! Sounds like Shawn would like some more room? Seeing the evolution of the suspension setup will be very interesting. |

> Seeing the evolution of the suspension setup will be very interesting. For what it's worth, the local suspension expert here bags on Ohlins in general pretty bad. His contention is as a system, it does not handle very bumpy tracks well. Is he right? Not sure, but all the local fast guys use him, and I have to admit, the Penske / AK-Gas set up he put on my bike is pretty sweet... the gas forks in particular are really something. |

The front suspension on the 1190RS has never been on a motorcycle before and brings some cutting edge technology. Let's hope this guy evaluates . . before he forms an opinion. The suspension on the 1190RS will be one of the great stories that will eventually creep out . . . think of it as nuclear suspension!

> Let's hope this guy evaluates . . before he forms an opinion. Soon as someone fast down here starts riding one, he probably will. Reality is, he works on what the racers ride, and there are no Robs down here buying $40k race bikes to run at the club level. Right now, it's the KTM dominating at the club level. It's all rider, for sure, but none the less the case. And, more than one KTM has seen it's internals swapped for Traxxion bits, too. The Traxxion stuff is first rate. |
