Just got back from San Diego & checked the thread. The roads are as FB describes, but beyond that, that intriguing intersection exactly 20 min. from my driveway. So close in fact that ... yes ... I think I hear it calling my name. Faint perhaps, but distinct. Good thing a weekend is fast approaching! Denise - New Red One? |

Ferris was NOT true to form today, and elected to pound away at the computer in a $eemingly endle$$ attempt to keep the wolve$ at bay. wanna see what Denise and i deal with on a daily basis? these are a few of the words i've gotten intimate with in the last 24 hours or so: BuSpar OxyContin NovoLog Cerumenex Ashkenazi codon supratentorial neuroectodermal Marinol Keppra Snellen choline uncovertebral Revamid dysdiadochokinesia recrudescent hyphema anisocoria proparacaine Tobrex tobramycin Plaquenil Combivent Avapro hyaline quinoline pyuria Depo-Medrol Biaxin Duragesic benzodiazepine nasolacrimal Neosporin Flonase Menest antiinflammatories mmHg lysed diltiazem digoxin troponin ethambutol hematoma Dermabond methamphetamine phenol perihilar bronchograms doxazosin cholangitis melanocytic Correctol pentamidine Lacri-Lube hypogammaglobinemia rhinitis medicamentosa MiraLax CellCept onychomycosis Alimta Solu-Medrol hepatosplenomegaly gastroenteritis sternocleidomastoid esophagogastroduodenoscopy sorry Denise, i didn't do as ordered today. the Thong whispered sweet nothings to me all afternoon, but i knew if i fired it up i'd be longggggggggggg gone. i deserve whatever punishment you choose to administer, and i promise not to like it too much. FMJ, not much to show yet. some necessary parts (swingarm and shock, for starters) are inbound from Modesto (i hope...Danny, you still with me?) and Calgary (thanks Hoser!) as we speak, and i'm aiming for March 23rd, 2004 -- eight years to the day since the start of this hopeless addiction -- as the "BLURR Rides Again Day" (B-RAD!) Dino, since i disobeyed direct orders from The Top today, MAYBE i'll be fired again this weekend, too. if you DO head this way, i hope you remember what to do FB |

Dino, sounds like FB may need more motivation - you know the road. FMJ, If a rainy day to hang in the garage is what FB is waiting for, not sure SoCal is the place to be. With a deadline only 3 months away tho, there will be parts all over the place soon I bet - just so as I still have room for mine. PS, Dino, "kinda" new red one. Denise |

hey Bomber, didn't mean to ignore you yesterday! it's been very spring-like here of late, with consistent daytime temps in the 70's and just a whisper of a gentle breeze. i spent the fisrt 45 years of my life in the Rain Forests of Washington, so i kinda feel like i've earned the right to now work on my tan nearly year 'round. remember: Just Say NO To SNOW! (and rain, and sleet, and hail, and all that other stuff the postal service always brags about...) FB |

ferris -- never thought you were, but, rather, figured you were get some more seat time or spinnin wrenches (either of which beats talkin to me, and I should know!) if it weren't for the fact the damn near all the folks I care about live within 45 mikes of this spot, I'd be outa here in a flash! |

hey Court, try again please, i'm anxious to see why i don't want to go there and Mike, i'm assuming your silence here today indicates that you and your Harley co-worker are presently on the road somewhere, westbound, destination Ferrisville, California. i'll keep a light on for youse FB |

There are days I am damn glad I don't drink....I was driving along, bout half in a daze, when I look up..... I'm not sure what is going on "behind the scenes" but every bridge and tunnel in this town looks like it's ready to be invaded. |

The Lightons and Reindog/Forger are heading out the door to go dirt biking in Ocatilla Wells next to the Anza-Borrego Desert. Trip report and pix when we get back. The weather is beautiful today in Southern Cali. |

Pammy would be better able to speak of the specifics. I do recall that Chuck was able to tune it from like 148 to the 207. I'm still working to get my pictures transfered, but once I've got them, I'll post a couple.

Jim (& all), here's what it looked like. He had the custom S3 fairing in the back of his Hummer and blocked in by his trailer, so I couldn't get a shot of it. the dyno sheet shows a bit more, but doesn't show the problems they had keepin' the beast strapped down during the runs. I think Pammy said it is a 120 in.. oh yeah, you'll notice a license plate -- it has to be street legal to run in it's class.
