Any way we can hear what it sounds like without that secondary muffler on it?

Skip to about 3:30 if you just want to hear it run. Basically, it sounds the same as an 1125, just revs a little higher (12k?) and that's about it. (Message edited by d_adams on October 20, 2011)

Rob can correct me, but it looks like they are running the race pipe, not the stock muffler.

Rob, did you guys have any problems spinning the rear tire on the rim? I never heard if Geoff and Erik Buell Racing figured out a solution for the *too much torque* problem :P

If my memory serves me correctly, the tire spinning on the rim was caused by using tire goo on the tire to help set the bead. I believe they started setting the bead with a dry tire. I believe I read that on the AMA website.

We had no spinning on rim problem. Shawn was able to spin the tire on the track at will however.
